Fancy Friday Love

Happy Friday and Happy June! We're about half way through the year already... where has time gone? Let's recapture some of it a little by looking back at what was fabulous this past week...

I SWOON! This living / dining area designed by Caitlin Creer is absolute perfection! The colours, the pieces, the patterns - love.every.single.detail. If you haven't already, you need to head over to her blog to see all of it! An absolute masterpiece!

Saw this kitchen on desire to inspire on Monday and instantly thought to myself "That is my Dream Kitchen"...

On Tuesday Marianne shared this gorgeous nursery that one of her readers sent directly to her... isn't it absolute perfection?

Another score on House of Turquoise this week. Adore this New Jersey home designed by BHDM Design. You need to head over to Erin's post to check out the whole home, but the first photo had me hooked, with the herringbone floor and dutch door...

Another gorgeous home on 79 ideas this past Wednesday - this one designed by Liz Williams. As this post would indicate, recently I'm very much drawn to light and airy, summery feeling spaces. Maybe because our house feels anything but serene as of late...

Small for Big has a great giveaway going on, offering up some cute baby storage solutions from Boon Inc. Unfortunately, the contest is for US Residents only, but that didn't stop me from falling in love with this adorable solution for baby shoe storage...

Our little girls shoe collection is already taking over one of the drawers in her dresser, and I'd love to be able to display some of the fancy footwear she's got. As much as I'd love to purchase this cute little way of displaying shoes, B came up with a really creative idea that we're going to tackle together!

When I saw this room on theLENNOXX I was blown away by that table. Not sure if it's stone or concrete but it's amazing... especially when paired with those delicate silk drapes and that feminine chandelier. Seriously great juxtaposition of masculine and feminine in this beautiful room.

I was totally inspired by this post over at Oh Dee Doh about using mailboxes in children's playrooms! I'm not ready to jump on board 100% yet, but I'm pretty sure we have our old mailbox laying around and started to think that maybe we could paint it and utilize it in the peanut's nursery as book storage. Just a tiny seed in my brain right now... we'll see where I go with it!

This past week I also registered for the Canadian Design Bloggers meetup, that is taking place on June 25th from 4 - 8pm at Brassaii Restaurant and Lounge here in Toronto! I cannot wait to see some familiar faces and meet some new people as well! Will you be there?

Well - this weekend should be great! I'm off today, with plans to tidy up around the house and make a trip to the farmers market for some fresh food for tonight and tomorrow's dinners. I'm also hoping to do more nursery organizing and hospital bag packing! Tomorrow we have some dinner guests heading our way and Sunday, we have a birthday in a park to attend... so overall I'm hoping for some seriously gorgeous weather! What fun things do you have planned for this weekend?

Make sure you come back Monday... I have a giveaway (I know, it's been FOREVER!). So you'll want to come back and see what's up for grabs!
