Fancy Friday Love
What a week it's been! Travels, Halloween and Christmas all rolled into one! It's been a busy one, but I still managed to squeeze in a little time to find some lovelies online. Here's what I loved this week...
Another incredible home on House of Turquoise this past week, this time by interior designer Jeanette Forney Van Wicklen. My favourite part has to be the weather wood over the range hood in the kitchen (it helps that the kitchen is incredible). Adding everything about the kitchen to my dream home files! Seriously!
Brittany from Gallery No. Eight, shared a great post on connecting your Twitter to your Facebook account (I'm most concerned about First Time Fancy's Facebook page and twitter account). She makes it really easy to follow, so I intend to go back and use it as a guide - how about you?

Jenny shared a post this week about staining her front doors. This inspiration photo that she shared was perfection. I can't wait for the day that we have a nice dark wood front door. It's on the list people!
I hope you all caught this incredible Halloween inspired shoot, pulled together by the fabulous Rhiannon from Hey Gorgeous Events. This girl is so fabulous at what she does. She's making me wish we had opted for a Halloween inspired wedding! So lovely!

What were some of our favourite finds this past week! Share links in the comments below - I'd love to check them out!
Well, the weekend is here and I'm pretty excited. We have some down time which I am very much looking forward to, as well as a play date on Sunday (for Halle and myself), followed by some planning for a baby shower I am co-hosting next month! I'm also working on big project in Halle's room that I can't wait to share with you! What do you have in the books?

Fancy Friday Love
What? An afternoon post? I know - crazy right? Well it's been a full week with all of my wedding photos to share, but I also found a ton of beautiful things online to share with all of you, so I couldn't resist an extra post this afternoon - here are some of my favourites...
Layla shared a couple photos of the beautiful work of Ashley Gilbreath (I know I've shared some of her work on here before after seeing it on House of Turquoise). Anyway, this talented lady is truly inspiring. Yet, for some reason, my favourite photo was of the stove in this kitchen... I'm ready to renovate our kitchen now B!
Normally, purple is not at the top of my list when it comes to decorating our spaces. However, this room by designer Angie Hranowsky really caught my eye when it was featured on desire to inspire earlier this week. Those bookcases may have a lot to do with it, but that feminine floral chair in front of the fireplace is just gorgeous!
I'm feeling some major kitchen envy after seeing this beautiful space by Kevin Walsh of Bear-Hill Interiors over on House of Turquoise. It's light an airy and oh so pretty. It's not really the direction I want in our new house... but it IS beautiful!

A pretty waiting room (and office if you click over), featured on Daily Dream Decor. So soft and feminine. Great inspiration for a young girls room, that they could grow into.

These birth announcements on Oh So Beautiful Paper this week were just too adorable! I loved them, but once I saw this great stamp (from Wit and Whistle) that the family used on the outside of the envelope I was in love! I think I need to get one for us!
Ahhh, a gorgeous shower! How I'd love to reno every bathroom in our house right now and cover them in pretty tile, like this shower from Modern Country Style. One day each and every one of our bathroom's will look this pretty...

Well, we have a fun weekend ahead. Some plans with out of town visitors, and I will also be devoting a lot of time to working on new tags for Halle Handmade. I've signed up for a Christmas sale in my area in just under a month - so lots to do to get ready still! What are your plans for this weekend?

Fancy Friday Love
Friday is upon us once again, and I have some favourites from around the blog world to share with you. Here we go...
Loved this adorable shared bedroom from Lay Baby Lay last Friday. Everything about it is perfect for children, while still being something they can grow into!
Yesterday was a pretty exciting day for me! I had a meeting in the morning with one really cool lady (keep an eye out here to find out what that was all about soon!), and enjoyed a wonderful sunny afternoon with little H. The day ended nicely with Glee Season 5 coming back (Hi, my name is Kerry and I am a Gleek) AND we received our sneak peek gallery of wedding photos. I would like to share them with our families first, but I thought I'd share this image of my bouquet... that I made. Big thanks to Katie from K. Thompson Photography for doing such an incredible job capturing our big day! We can't wait to see the rest!

I'm still collecting lots of dining room inspiration for us (I have new purchases to share with you next week - think seating). There are so many great spaces out there, and it's no surprise that I fell in love with this dining room, by Annsley Interiors, that was on House of Turquoise yesterday. Lovely, no?
I'd love to enjoy breakfast this weekend in this dining nook (designed by Benjamin Dhong). It just looks so cozy, and relaxing. A perfect place to curl up and enjoy my morning coffee... while Halle runs around wildly proclaiming "pum pay Mama! NOW!" (translation: Come Play Mama! NOW!").

Well - it should be a good weekend around here. B has planned to have some people over on Saturday for my birthday, and I think Sunday we'll try to take it easy. B will be working on our DIY Dining table (hopefully some photos soon), and I will spend some time working on my office and downstairs guest room. Hopefully we can cross a lot off of our to-do list!
What do you have planned for this final September weekend?

Fancy Friday Love
B and I may be married now (1 month this coming Tuesday already!), but today still marks something very important to both of us. 6 years ago today, I boarded a flight to NYC to spend a weekend with a man I had only spoken to online and on the phone for two and a half months. I received a lot of criticism and negativity about taking that trip, but a few really great friends supported me and I am so thankful for that. So today I want to wish my now husband, a very happy 6 years together. I love you more today than I ever have, and I know it will only grow as we work on this relationship together.
Now, onto my favourites from this past week...
I was reminded of my love for white interiors done perfectly when I saw this post on Daily Dream Decor. White done really, really well. I'll take one please!

Thanks to Lisa over at Wicked and Weird, I officially want to paint our in progress dining room a light neutral and stencil up those walls. I bet B will be thrilled when he reads this!
I'll be back in BC early next week and I'm sooo ready to get back into working on things around the house! There is still lots to be done there and I am can't wait to continue to make it feel more like us. In particular, I'm feeling inspired to freshen up my magazine holders after seeing this pretty project that Megan tackled.
I'll take this kitchen (found on desire to inspire) please! Would be so lovely in our home, especially those windows! Absolutely my most favourite part!
Well, I hope all those that are attending Blog Podium tomorrow (and other blog related meet ups and events over the weekend), have a wonderful fantastic time! I will miss seeing so many familiar and new faces, but I have a very important wedding to attend tomorrow (with a very adorable flower girl, if I do say so myself). My friend of 14 years will be saying "I Do" to the man of her dreams and I could not be any happier for the two of them!
What does everyone have planned for this weekend?

Fancy Friday Love: Dream Honeymoons
Well, it's the last special edition of Fancy Friday Love. This week I'm sharing some of my dream honeymoon spots. If we had an unlimited budget and time, these are the cities I would love to hit up with B...
What is your dream honeymoon spot? I'd love to hear about all of your big travel dreams!

Fancy Friday Love: Cakes & Toppers
Happy Friday! This Friday is all about sweet with my favourite cakes and cake toppers! Check 'em out...
{Keep it Simple via Ritzy Bee}
Who doesn't love pretty cakes!? I do, but I couldn't decide and we've been to a few weddings who opted not to do cakes... and loved it! I can't wait to share what we decided to do with you AFTER our big day! What did you do for desserts for your big day? What's the best dessert you ever had!? I can't wait to hear!

Fancy Friday Love: Table Settings
This week we're moving on from the ceremony and into the reception! How about the table setting...
{Table Number via Hey Gorg}
{Glass Plate via Ritzy Bee}
The little touches make all of the difference, don't they? We're keeping ours pretty simple, and both feel it reflects us very well, but that can't stop me from loving these beautiful tables. Which do you love the most? What special touches did you, or would you add to your big day?

Fancy Friday Love: The Ceremony Backdrop
Another Friday, another chance to share some lovely inspiration. This week is all about the ceremony backdrop and some of my favourite's that I found. In the end, we won't need a backdrop because we do have a pretty great venue. However, if we did need one, I would totally pick one of these...
{Wood Backdrop via Style Me Pretty}
To be honest, some of these make me wish we needed a backdrop. I am looking forward to sharing our gorgeous venue (and photos of course) after our big day. Did you create a backdrop for your big day, or did you use what you had?

Fancy Friday Love: Wedding Stationery
Welcome to my first "Fancy Friday Love" of wedding month! I'm pretty excited about this specialty series! Instead of sharing my favourites from the web and blog land (let's be real, there won't be much blog reading in the lead up to the wedding), I'm sharing some of my favourite finds for different aspects of a wedding (clearly all scheduled in advance).
I'm kicking off today with some of my favourite finds for Wedding Stationery...

{How fun are these neon hand lettered invites, also featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper}
Aren't they lovely? Which is your favourite? As you can imagine, with all of this gorgeousness floating around the web, I had a hard time picking what I wanted for our wedding. In the end, of course, I'm so in love with what we ended up choosing.

Fancy Friday Love
What a crazy week. Halle turned two, and my focus has turned from her party/birthday and back towards wedding and honeymoon planning. It is less than a month until we say "I Do", and I can't believe it. Still lots to do, so in the meantime, check out what I loved recently...
I'm loving this fresh bathroom renovation that Vanessa did for a client! Everything is beautiful, and it's nice to see a space that isn't all marble and subway tile (don't get me wrong, I love 'em, but it's nice to see something different once in a while). She's really inspired me to open up our own shower stall (when we have money to put towards a reno of course).
Did you see the trailer that Danielle's Mom revamped? B and I keep talking about wanting to take Halle camping... and I think doing some camping in that trailer would be totally awesome. Don't you?

How about this gorgeous Nordic minimalist home (located in the South of France) shared on automatism. I'm loving it, especially the front entry...
I think I find a new dream kitchen online every week (if not every day). This past week, this one was a top contender (found on House of Turquoise). (I must add, I saw benches identical to those chairs at HomeSense yesterday and instantly fell in love. Wanted to take it home for our kitchen dining nook, but all money is going into our wedding and honeymoon fund at the moment! *sobs*)
This girls room, featured on Made by Girl, has made me decide it is time to get back on board with finishing Halle's room. It could be so much better than it is right now. Time for me to get to work.

So, this weekend we're sticking close to home. May hit a few garage sales, have some friends over, maybe visit a festival or two. Generally just enjoy this gorgeous hot, sunny summer we are getting... before the rain returns! What are you up to this weekend?
