Today's Dream Home is a little escape to Turkey. This past weekend as we all sat around as one big family chatting, my parents trip to the Mediterranean in 2008 came up, and it got me thinking about some of the beautiful cities I hope to one day see. Turkeys is most definitely one of them.
When trying to choose which house I wanted to showcase this afternoon, I was torn between two. In the end, I picked the one I did because of the spectacular views (I'm always a sucker for great views). If you want to check out the option that lost out, you can find it here.
Of course, it's no surprise that today's home comes from my favorite property site, Sotheby's Realty, and this modern gem is listed at a cool $3.89M US...
Though the exterior of the home, with all of the glass and clean lines, is absolutely stunning, it's (as I said) the views that make this place truly spectacular.
Breathtaking, no? I'm sure I'd manage to drag myself out of bed from time to time to enjoy such a gorgeous sunrise view!
The main living area inside offers some pretty incredible views as well...
Pretty sure that I would take those views over television watching any day!
And though the views may not be quite as incredible, I love the full glass walls in the bedroom and kitchen which overlook the pool...
I can imagine that trying to keep the stainless steel and high gloss cabinets (plus all of those floor to ceiling windows) would be a chore... but if I owned the home, I'd probably just hire a house cleaning service anyway... problem solved. I just can't get enough of homes that have this much natural light!
Are you swooning, or is there something in particular that you would want from a home? I'd be glad to search out the home of your dreams for you. Just leave me a comment or send me an email, and I'll be glad to find what you're looking for absolutely anywhere in the world! :)
Yes, it has been quite a challenge cleaning those windows - that's why we are selling our Turkish home (just kidding). Love your blog - I'm your newest fan - so lovely to 'meet' you :)
ReplyDeleteSwooning here :-) Wow! Definitely to-die-for views! And I love the walls of glass - wouldn't want to have to keep them clean, though!
ReplyDeleteThere's pretty much not a single thing I don't like about his house. I can't even imagine living there. Great post.
