We woke up relatively early on Sunday and made our way to The Willow Tea Rooms on Sauchiehall Street. We actually arrived so early they weren't even open yet, so we wandered some more and once they opened their doors we were the first two inside seated and ready to eat.
In the afternoon, two of my friends came into the city to meet up with us for lunch and an afternoon walking tour of some local bars. We both really enjoyed getting to spend some time with them and chat and catch up. It's always too long between visit with friend's who live overseas.
The next day we slept in and enjoyed a late lunch before strolling the West End of the city. We rounded out the day with dinner at Jamie Oliver's restaurant, Jamie's Italian in George Square and a visit to a few more bars for drinks on the way back to our hotel.

We briefly considered a night out on the town, but then we reconsidered when we remembered our early morning we had awaiting us. Instead, we enjoyed some snacks and TV in our spacious studio apartment room before heading to bed early. Tomorrow I'll be back with photos from our wonderfully perfect day trip to Edinburgh. Such an incredible city!
Oh, Kerry, I am so loving all these honeymoon pics, looks like you had an amazing time!! And I sighed a little bit when you mentioned sleeping in... oh the luxury ;)
